Distributor Tech Data is looking to ramp up cloud sales among its resellers by introducing two promotions around the Microsoft cloud.
Resellers who purchase Microsoft cloud services within the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme will be eligible for the equivalent of one month for free, which they can use on cloud training or split between sales credit and training, the distributor said.
Tech Data was selected for the CSP programme back in May. It is designed to increase partners' cloud sales by allowing them to directly provide customer subscriptions and deliver one monthly bill for Microsoft services and their own. This promotion follows the appointment of Joel Wilson as business development executive for the CSP scheme in August.
Tech Data also announced that it is looking to help partners push migrations to Office 365, by giving them free access to BitTitan's MigrationWiz mailbox - which migrates mailbox data to the cloud - and DeploymentPro - a cloud-based solution that allows you to manage desktops.
This offer applies to Microsoft partners' first migration project and both promotions run until the end of the year.
